- Abby Fammartino has been a chef for almost her entire life, long being the person who could "whip up" something tasty from your pantry when you thought you had nothing in the house for dinner. She has had a passion for the nutritive and health-supportive qualities of foods for many, many years. She began her cooking career at the Natural Gourmet Institute in New York, and since then has created a following of clients in Philadelphia, Seattle, and now, Portland, Oregon, where she has created "Abby's Table," a commercial kitchen in which she hosts weekly dinners and creates her superb line of handmade, fresh sauces, all free of gluten, dairy, soy and refined sugars. Abby's Table is managed and operated by Chef Abby, her sister, Kristy Fammartino (Design/Web Manager), her dear friend Linda Stone (Social Media, Product Development) and a team of wonderful, vibrant volunteers.
Through weekly dinners and through our website, abbys-table.com, we hope to educate more and more people about the benefits of maintaining a health-supportive diet, as eating well has to be fun and delicious to be truly healthy. Chef Abby is extremely motivated to educate the public at large about vibrant health maintenance, recovery, and disease prevention through a health-supportive diet.
In all this we hope to maintain a sense of humor and delight in what we do. We want to bring people to the “table”, share ideas and encourage people to enjoy good food as much as we do!
