Markus joined Solar Oregon as Executive Director in December of 2009, after serving on the organization’s board of directors for four years. Markus is a founder of Environmental Building Supplies (EBS, now Ecohaus), a local green building materials supplier since 1993. With EBS and Stapleton Electric & Solar he designed and installed many Photovoltaic system in Portland and surrounding areas. He also lives in a solar-powered, high-efficiency home which was featured on Solar Oregon’s Goal Net Zero Tour in 2008.

Residential tax credits and incentives often pay for up to 80% of the cost! Participants will come away with basic knowledge about solar energy systems and will be prepared to do more focused research on their own and start working with a contractor.
