Weston Miller is Community and Urban Horticulture Faculty for OSU Extension Service in the Portland metro region.  His job is to deliver community-based education and outreach on stable and resilient food systems and ecolocial landscapes.  He has worked as a small-scale farmer, landscaper, and urban forester and has a wealth of experience as an educator for both adults and children in both formal and informal settings.  Weston lives in SW Portalnd with his wife and two young boys where he likes to garden and hike.

Like the idea of organic gardening but don’t know how to deal with the weeds?  Learn the tools and techniques to manage weeds in your garden and landscape without using toxic chemicals.  It starts with identifying the life cycle of weeds and choosing the appropriate tools or strategies to handle the situation.  Persistant weed control over time can make weedy sites managable giving you more time to enjoy the garden and landcape.
