Clark Public Utilities Home & Garden Idea Fair picks Blue Ocean Events of Portland, Oregon
Clark Public Utilities has selected Blue Ocean Events of Portland, Oregon to assist with production of the 20th annual Home & Garden Idea Fair. The event will be held April 29-May 1 at the Clark County Event Center at the fairgrounds. This is the first time the utility has partnered with an outside firm for managing the event. Blue Ocean Events is best known for producing the largest sustainable lifestyle event in the Northwest - the Better Living Home and Garden Show. Heather Allmain, the utility’s coordinator for the show, said Blue Ocean Events will manage commercial exhibitor activities. “The Blue Ocean Events staff bring more than three decades of consumer show experience and a commitment to customer service that fits perfectly with the unique qualities of the Home & Garden Idea Fair.”
Michel O’Loughlin, co-founder of Blue Ocean Events, said they chose to partner with Clark Public Utilities to help with the Home & Garden Idea Fair “because it is a perfect fit with our company’s philosophy – a free show done as a service to the community with hundreds of home and garden related companies providing information and a lot of education on energy and the environment.” Allmain said the Home & Garden Idea Fair is successful event because it features only top quality commercial exhibitors with products and services that are directly related to home building; home improvement and remodeling; interior design and decorating; home accents; yard and garden products; and landscaping. If you are interested in becoming as exhibitor at the 2011 Home & Garden Idea Fair, call 360-992-3223 for more information.
