Mr. Sun Solar

John Patterson is the owner of Mr. Sun Solar Company.  He has personally installed over 1000 solar systems,  and his company recently became the first business west of the Cascades to be zero net energy – to get 100% of all the energy needed to run their office and warehouse from the sun.  John has been instrumental in getting solar energy legislation passed in  the northwest, and has served twice as President of the Oregon Solar Energy Industries Association.

This workshop will cover grid-tied solar electric systems, including how to size a photovoltaic system to provide the desired energy level for home or business, offsetting the cost with federal and state tax credits and incentives, and a brief overview of components and wiring basics.
