Kiko Denzer, Author

Kiko is an artist, teacher, author, and gardener. Since 1994, he has been using earth (cob, or adobe) and other natural materials to make buildings, garden walls, ovens, fireplaces, murals, sculpture, installations, and community art installations. His art has been exhibited in various galleries, and received national press coverage. He teaches and presents widely. He is the author Dig Your Hands in the Dirt: A Manual for Making Art out of Earth, and Build Your Own Earth Oven; he is one of many contributors to The Hand Sculpted House, by Evans, Smith, and Smiley .

Mud 101: From Mud-pies to Mansions

Sunday, March 30 from 12:00 pm- 1:00 pm

Kiko will teach you about hand-made earthen arts and other sculpture, from sculpted interior finishes (on all surfaces), to load bearing (“cob”) houses, to masonry ovens (interior and exterior). Bring your inner (and outer) children and learn from this celebrated author.  Book Signing to follow.
