Division II DESIGN
The challenge in this show is to rethink our options in choices of materials we use in design. In the design classes, at least 50 % of the plant material used has to be material that could be grown successfully in this bioregion with what nature provides. Organic fertilizers acceptable.
OREGON BY DESIGN
Section A OREGON ON THE MOVE Eligible for the Meeting the Challenge Award Designer to state on 3’x5’ card materials used to meet class requirements. Class 19 HERITAGE FARM A CREATIVE design using repurposed container/and or materials. Will be staged with minimum 27” top space Class 20 CITY LIFE A CREATIVE design using recycled/ found metal in the design. Class 21 WINDOW SHOPPING A STILL LIFE design. Maximum space allowed 30” Section B RELAX Eligible for the Club Competition Award Class 22 PICNIC TIME A FUNCTIONAL TABLE for 2 on a 4’ X 4’ riser, 2’ from floor. Designer to provide underlay. Staging goal is to use as much repurposed/ recycled materials as possible. Exhibitors will be notified of exact kind, size of staging no later than March 1, 2012
