Toyota Prius (PHV)

The Prius Plug-in Hybrid is engineered for enhanced electric driving range, and it allows you to charge its lithium-ion battery using a common household outlet. A 120V outlet will completely charge the battery in about three hours, while a 240V outlet will charge it in about half that time. It can drive up to 15 miles on electric power alone, and it’s capable
of traveling up to 62 mph in EV mode. In hybrid mode, its mileage has been estimated at 49 mpg.
