Frequently Asked Questions

Where is my Exhibitor Profile? I can't find it!

Your profile may still be pending, and will be published when it has been approved by show management. Should you have any questions, please contact us.

I am interested in speaking at the Better Living Show, who should I contact?

Contact Michael O'Loughlin at michael [at] blueoceanevents.org and give as much details as possible as to your expertise and what you would like to talk about.  Seminars are information only and cannot be sales pitches.

I would love to volunteer for the event, where do I sign up?

Thank you!  Our volunteers are the backbone of our event!  Please go to the following link and sign up.  Our volunteer coordinator will contact you directly in February.

How much does the Better Living Show cost for attendees?

Nothing!  While many of the larger travelling shows charge $30.00 for a couple to attend, we have made admission free.  We live in the community where we produce the event and we want all of our neighbors to have access to these products and services.

How do I pay for my booth?

After your booth application has been approved by show management, you will receive an email with instructions to make a payment.  Or you can go directly to https://www.betterlivingshow.org/payment and put in the user name and password you created when you signed up for your booth space.

Where can I find the current floorplan for the Better Living Show?

Go to the Become an Exhibitor page and click on the link titled CURRENT FLOOR PLAN.

When will I receive my Exhibitor Manual?

As the producers of a green show, we strive to be very mindful of the resources we use in producing the event. We do not mail copies of the Exhibitor Manual, rather this important document is available online for you to download here.

What are the Move-in times?

Exhibitors can move into the Better Living Show on Wednesday and Thursday from 8:00 am - 8:00 p.  Find more details here.

What is the deadline for receiving advance show pricing from the decorator and lighting/electrical contractors?

Orders must be recieved by March 10, 2012 for advance pricing. Order forms available here.

Are there Exhibitor Parking Passes and Credentials?

Since we are a Free Admission show, no credentials are required for you or your staff.

Parking at the Portland Expo Center is controlled by Metro and cost $8 per day (parking fee not required during load-in). You may purchase 3-day parking passes from the Portland Expo Center during show load-in which DOES allow for the convenience of in-and-out privileges. (We recommend the 3-day pass.) Single day passes that you purchase day of do not allow you to leave the premises without paying again to re-enter.
